To Our Valued Artists:
These are unique times… and now, more than ever, we walk with and beside you, to rise and welcome the challenge of being more than we have been before. This has been an opportunity to still and silence; to listen to the voices, breath, and heartbeat of those around us in the greater community we serve.
Each one of you has entrusted us to gather and plant the seeds you have graciously shared… your story, your art, and YOU. To grow and care for a garden filled with innovation, wonder, possibility, beauty and resilience. I marvel every day at the bounty and harvest of this garden we have built together, and continue to be inspired, grateful and humbled by your talents and commitment to what you do, and for your faith in sharing that journey with us here at Artisan’s.
Our NH artists are vital to who we are; and as importantly, you are deeply integrated into the web of our greater communities. We recognize that this pandemic has had a profound impact on every one of us in regard to art and trade shows, gatherings, and sales. We are in this together, and as we move forward, it is our goal to prioritize each one of YOU and YOUR ART in ways that celebrate this deeper sense of humanity and community.
To this end, I have:
We are listening to what customers are sharing with us in terms of interests, requests, desires and needs. Andover artist Gretchen Durack of Mountainside Creations has sold over 300 face masks in matter of weeks; artist Maureen Binzel of Tilly’s Needle (Sunapee, NH) created a different shaped face mask, and these have had great sales too! Both artists have been very busy and have made multiple deliveries, which more recently have included children’s masks as well. We are very happy to keep our local artists working to produce these and anything requested or which we feel will sell well vs. sourcing from a company which is not local or may mass produce them. Further, the response from our customers that these have been created by our local artists has been incredibly positive.
I invite you to consider taking advantage of our in-store space OR our outside courtyard to showcase your art, work on your craft, and meet our team and customers ANY TIME. As well, your suggestions and feedback are invaluable to me; if you have ideas, don’t hesitate to share them with me, and with us! Touch base with me at email@example.com or give me a call at the shop at 603-526-4226, or on my cell phone (603)748-8788.
Our current shop hours are: Tues-Sat 10am-4pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
