Our Artists... (to name just a few)

There is the artist Linda Peterson who, after experiencing a spinal cord injury that kept her from her love of quilting, picked up a paint brush for the very first time when she was almost fifty years old, and hasn’t put it down since. Her watercolors feature local landmarks, and her originals are lovely and accessible.

There is Debbie Fine, of the only Henniker in the world, who creates her geometric and fine jewelry from sterling silver, at wonderful price points.

There is Rick Libbey, who shares with us his passion for and photography of moose, the elusive and non-official state animal of New Hampshire... with this incredible energy, enthusiasm, and beautiful spirituality.

There is Jody Demske, who walked in off the street during Christmas season 2008 and offered to spruce up our desperately-in-need-of-care window boxes. We thought we’d give her a try... and what creations she has made for the outside of our store with her colorful and whimsical window boxes, flower pots, and gardens.

There are Kathy Noordsij and Nina McDonough, our window display artists, who create the most amazing showcases along our Main Street windows, with their sense of fun, creativity, and product knowledge.

There is Ron Cravens, who sometimes rides up to the store on his tough-guy motorcycle, an image which somehow defies this silver and goldsmith who creates some of the most simply elegant and sought after pieces at Artisan’s, and who is ALWAYS receptive and willing to try new things.

There is Shannon Traegde who was brought in by a dear friend who recognized Shannon’s immense talents, even when Shannon was hesitant to show us what sort of art she created (we were glad she did!). We knew at once that her work was both unique and beautifully artistic and that our customers would respond to it with the same enthusiasm we did.
