Our
Artists and Our Family
 Artisan’s is a special place. I am delighted you
have chosen to visit us, either in person, or
through our new venue on the internet. Since 1975,
Artisan’s has been an integral part of the wonderful
Main Street community of New London, New Hampshire.
Its long arms have reached far and wide, in both its
quest for art and the artistic, and in the people
and stories that make that possible. In addition,
Artisan’s appreciates an ever-expanding and diverse
customer base.
As a child visiting Artisan’s, I remember looking
into the wooden and glass jewelry cases, enthralled
by a treasure chest of jewelry gazing back out at
me, and all of the other colorful things in this
charming store that I couldn’t resist reaching out
to touch. That sense of discovery and adventure
continues to inspire me today… and it is truly an
honor to be in the position to showcase the talents
and stories of such remarkable artists.
At Artisan’s, our hope is that you will find a sense
of respite from busy shopping centers and concrete
malls. You will experience exceptional customer
service, as well as a truly eclectic selection of
jewelry, clothing, gifts and art which promote a
sense of daring, fun, and the artistic. We celebrate
the artist within each one of us and the individuals
who make that possible.
As our outstanding manager, Amy Witmer, so often
